For a wooden yacht for sale contact, use the desk: WhatsApp 6281139414563 or bd@juaraholding.com. These are the only two channels for this site. Tell us whether you are buying, selling or correcting something, and include the details below so the first reply can be useful instead of another question.
We do not promise a response time. Boats, time zones and sources all move at different speeds, and we would rather send a checked answer than a fast one.
- WhatsApp: WhatsApp 6281139414563
- Email: bd@juaraholding.com
We publish no other number or address, and no contact details for any broker, yard or surveyor. If anyone uses another contact while claiming to represent this site, treat it with suspicion and let us know through one of the two channels above.
What should a buyer include in a first message?
A buyer brief does not need to be formal. Six lines are enough, and a rough range is better than nothing.
| Item | Example of what helps |
|---|---|
| Type | Classic sailing yacht, traditional hull, liveaboard, or open to ideas |
| Length | A range in metres or feet |
| Region | Where you would view it, and where you plan to keep it |
| Use | Private cruising, or paying guests |
| Condition | Ready to use, needs light work, or a project is fine |
| Timing | When you hope to view, and when you hope to complete |
It also helps to say whether you have a lawyer in Indonesia and how you expect to hold the boat. If you have not decided yet, read our guide to buying in Indonesia first, or just tell us that it is still open.
Please do not send passport copies, bank details or other sensitive documents in a first message. If they are needed later for a contract, the parties to that contract will explain how to handle them.
What should a seller include in a listing request?
Send what you have, and tell us what is missing. Our listing request guide for sellers gives the full list. The essentials are:
- Length, year built, any rebuild date, and timber.
- Engine hours and last service.
- Date and place of the last haul-out.
- Documents held, and in whose name.
- Where the boat lies and how to view it.
- Your asking price, and whether it is firm.
- Whether a current broker is involved.
- Recent photos that you own the rights to.
The desk will compare your details with published listings and tell you plainly what it thinks. Any commission or fee is stated before an agreement. Brokerage contracts sit with PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara, and construction, repair, refit and vessel-sale contracts with PT Komodo Galangan Nusantara.
What does a useful buyer brief look like?
Here is the sort of message that gets a useful answer: "Buying. Wooden sailing yacht, 18 to 25 m, based in Southeast Asia, private use. Light refit is fine, no project boats. Viewing from March. I have not chosen a flag yet."
That is only about thirty words, and it tells the desk what to look for and what to skip. A vague message such as "send me your boats" tends to get a question in return, because the site publishes no stock list to send.
If you have seen a particular boat elsewhere, send the link and tell us what you want to know about it. We can explain what to ask the seller, though we cannot vouch for a boat we have not seen documents for.
How should I protect myself when dealing with anyone about a boat?
These habits apply whoever you are talking to, including us.
- Check who owns the boat before you travel or pay, using the registration deed and Surat Ukur.
- Pay deposits only to a stakeholder named in a signed contract, and read our note on how escrow protects a deposit.
- Make the sale conditional on survey, haul-out and sea trial.
- Be wary of urgency, especially another buyer who appears just as you ask for a survey.
What can the desk not help with?
Knowing the limits saves your time.
- Charter bookings. This site deals with buying and selling wooden yachts, not holidays.
- Legal or tax advice. Please consult a licensed Indonesian maritime lawyer, a notary or a tax adviser.
- Survey services. We do not survey boats and we name no surveyor.
- Government matters. We are not a port authority, customs office, classification society or registry.
- Listing confirmation for third parties. We quote published listings and cannot say whether a third-party boat is still available. Ask its source.
How do I report an error or request a correction?
We check facts against dated sources, and those sources change. If a price, rule or description on this site looks wrong, please send:
- The page address.
- The sentence or table row in question.
- A source we can read, with a link if you have one.
Brokers and owners whose listings appear in our price table may also ask us to update or remove a row. Send the listing address and your connection to the boat.
Our buying FAQ lists the questions we have not been able to source. Evidence on any of those is especially welcome. You can read how the site works on the about page.
What happens after I send a message?
The desk reads the message and replies through the channel you used. It may ask for missing details. If there is a suitable published listing, you will get it with its source and date. If there is none, we will tell you that as well.
Nothing you send commits you to anything. Any later step, such as an offer, a brokerage agreement or a deposit, happens only through a written contract that you have read and, ideally, had your lawyer check. Do not pay anyone on the strength of a chat message. Confirm any account details through a second channel before transferring funds.
Every boat we discuss remains subject to third-party survey, haul-out and document check, however confident a description may sound.
What do people ask before contacting the desk?
These four questions cover most first messages.
Can I speak to someone by phone?
Start with WhatsApp 6281139414563 or bd@juaraholding.com. Those are the only published channels, and written details make it easier to give you a checked answer.
Which language should I write in?
English is the language of this site. If another language is easier for you, write in it and we will tell you whether the desk can continue that way.
Does sending a brief commit me to anything?
No. Sending a brief or listing request commits you to nothing. Any fee on a sale is stated before any agreement.
Can I visit an office or yard?
The site invites contact through WhatsApp and email. If a viewing of a specific boat becomes relevant, the details are arranged for that boat.
